Impress Individual

Cast Time: Instant/1 round
Target: Enemy
Effect: The caster makes an attempt at complete hypnotization of a single enemy by trying to impress them through a verbal display of confidence. If impressed, the caster will initiate a mind link with the enemy, causing the enemy to fall under the caster’s control for the next 5 rounds. After each round, roll 2d6. If the result is below 9, the caster retains control over the target. If the result is 9 or above, however, then the enemy escapes the spell early. Controlled enemies still must wait for their turn to be directed and being controlled or breaking control never disrupts an initiative rotation.
